February WordPress Meetup Results: ServerPress is Desktop Server Software for WordPress.org run off your computer
Tonight’s WordPress Presentation was made by Mike Irvine (twitter). The topic was on DesktopServer an application that is stored on your computer that allows you to quickly and easily generate optimized WordPress projects that run locally. 
You can then sync them to the server at a later day. Benefits include zero “Cowboy Coding” and reducing the delay in time of waiting for uploading each image before you can work with it.
