Manifesto

Clients and the WordPress/Internet Community.

Our company’s manifesto is plain and simple:

Provide the fastest mobile-first websites that are SEO optimized, checkout/conversion-optimized, and provide data-driven tracking/results to give our customers the best return on investment.

I think, as a community, we NEED to stop using jquery heavy themes (like The7) and all page builders. That means WPBakery builder, Slider Revolution, Divi, Beaver Builder, Visual Composer, Themify Builder, Elementor, Brizy, and others are all DEAD. The Gutenberg block editors are now core and with the right block editor plugin, we can now design amazing-looking websites that only a page builder could produce just a year ago.

Our recommendations are listed below. WordPress Themes:

  1. Kadence (theme & block editor)
  2. Blocksy theme (used in conjunction with Stackable)
  3. Suki extra light weight.

Gutenberg block editors:

  1. Kadence Top paid block editor (free and paid versions and is both a theme & block editor)
  2. Stackable Amazing block editor (best to go with the paid version)
  3. Gutenberg Blocks – Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg
  4. Getwid (Free currently)

Custom Post Types:

Speed Additions:

  1. Continued use of CDNs
  2. WPRocket & Iimagify (with WebP)
  3. WP Asset Clean Up – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-asset-clean-up/ or Freesoul Deactivate Plugins – Plugin manager and cleanup
  4. Redis Cache – https://wordpress.org/plugins/redis-cache/ (only eCommerce sites need it)
  5. Moving login URL (may want to upgrade to https://perfmatters.io/)

Results: With any of the options shown above, we should see a major improvement in load times and happy customers. Let alone, better user experience for all users. Redirect Plugin: It’s fast: WP 404 Auto Redirect to Similar Post but it’s a quick overall solution to redirects.
