TechBrew (Geek Social Event) @ Forbidden Planet in Iowa City, IA

The TechBrew event (sponsored by Technology Association of Iowa) is dedicated to real-life socialization for people in the technology field. It’s a great way to get away from our Slack channels, kick back, and get to know fellow technology specialists in the industry in Easter Iowa. Seeing that TechBrew was at Forbidden Planet there was lots of pizza, (yet it went really FAST) and tokens to play arcade games. As always at this event, the first drink is free. The event started at 5 p.m. and several of us were still hanging out after the official end time at 7 p.m. Our host Sarah Binder did a fantastic job!
